14 Months...and I'm a SLACKER!

The 13 month mark came and went for Koal…as did 14!! I still can’t believe he’s ONE, and now, here we are at 14 months!  Please know that a lack of blogging means only GOOD things.  Koal has been doing so well (and we’ve been SO busy!), but I apologize for falling so far behind with the updates! The little man is pulling up on EVERYTHING now, and pushing his little walker toys across the room.  I know it won’t be long before he just takes off walking with no help! We’ve seen a step or two, but not consistently, and it’s generally more like “lunging” forward than steps. The “army crawl” is much less used these days and Koal has been pushing himself up to crawl “normally” most of the time (if he’s not walking with a toy or along the couch, chairs, etc!).He loves to “dance” when he hears music (and I’ve been trying to grab a video of that, but no luck so far!) and he LOVES to play in the cupboards with the storage-ware or plastic cups.  He’s also a HUGE fan of balls.  In fact, I think I heard him say “baa” last week while he picked one up!  He’s also saying “mama” non-stop, but those are the only two decipherable “words” so far.

At the end of May Koal and Adry were baptized at our church. It was a sweet day with family and friends, and we are thankful for God’s loving presence in their lives already and look forward to all He has in store for them!

We’ve been keeping busy lately with a recent trip to Table Rock lake with Adam’s Dad and family, as well as a trip or two down to Adam’s Mom’s house to play in the pond at and the “club house.”  Koal LOVES the water, as do his siblings, so there are pics below of some of our recent water fun J

What fun pictures....and we're GLAD that you're busy and things are going so well. His cute picture with the wild man hair reminds me of Jake at that age--I'll have to send you a picture. They could be little twins. We heard the baptisms were beautiful and a very special day. How blessed that all three kids have such great grandparents around them on all sides with love, support and complete with water fun as needed (haha). He looks like a natural for a future Olympics with his natural "diving" skills jumping into the water with Adam. How cute. It was so great to see you all at Nicole's reception and catching up from my mom's surgery but will send pictures soon. Enjoy each moment and day...just like you are. Be blessed and we continue to pray for your entire crew. Love...Char & Crew :)
