Cath #2

Koal’s catheterization went well this morning and we’ve spent the afternoon on the observation ward.  He is doing well and we are on track to go home in the next hour or so!

The catheterization showed the docs what they need to know for making future decisions about our next steps surgically.  Our cardiologists will meet with the surgical team here at Children’s Mercy later this week to discuss the findings and decide on a recommendation for future plans. Our cath results will also be sent to the surgeons in Michigan and Boston to consider their opinions as well.

Thank you all so much for your prayers for our little man today.  Please pray that he continues to recover quickly and that our night is uneventful. Pray for the team that meets this week to discuss Koalton’s case, that they would be filled with wisdom as recommend future plans.

If there ever was a picture of a little angel this is it. Please know I am praying for all of you knowing God loves Him even more than we do and will protect him as he gets better and stronger. Give him a hug and kiss for me.

Please know that prayers and warm thoughts are stretching across the miles and headed upward for sweet Koal and each of you as family. While not an easy road, our prayer is that the path will find you with much love, hope and courage as you walk it. He's here for such a special reason and we will also continue to pray for all of those involved with his medical care and decisions. God is walking beside you and carrying you through...rest in that as you can and know family and friends are there with you too. Love...Char, Greg & Crew
