Discharged!

We’re out!! Waaaahoooooo!! It’s wonderful to be able to say that…and SO amazing that it’s TRUE! We were discharged from Children’s Hospital Boston around noon today and enjoyed a restful afternoon and evening. We have a follow-up appointment with Dr. Powell tomorrow morning and are praying we’re get the okay to fly home soon! Please pray that all goes well tomorrow and that Koal will continue to gain strength and recover more each day.  Pray that details to fly home would fall into place easily and that our adjustment once home, especially for Kade and Adry, would be smooth and enjoyable.  I CANNOT WAIT to hug those munchkins tight and kiss their faces over and over! Man, have we ever missed them…though we know they are still having a blast being spoiled by ALL their grandparents! Thanks Grandmas and Grandpas! And, thank YOU, again, for all your continued thoughts and prayers.  We are humbled and grateful for how our family has been blessed by those around us that continue to lift us up in prayer.

Goodbye CHB!  Thanks for everything!!

Three cheers for our youngest little cousin Koalton and for the wonderful God who watched over him and blessed us with his recovery. How is it even possible that he went from 30+ tubes in his little body to a smiling happy baby with a destiny to fulfill. We're all so happy for you and share in all the joy I know you must be feeling. Please give him a hug and kiss from all his Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. We give you Father all the honor, glory and praise for this real Christmas miracle for our family. Love You - Aunt Michele

WOW...Koalton is one amazing little "munchkin" as you would say...as are his parents and grandparents (and siblings too of course)! How wonderful for all of you that he's such a little miracle and we're so thankful that God directed you to such a wonderful medical facility. We'll continue to pray for him and all of you as you make arrangements and adjustments as you prepare to come home and for his continued healing. God's hand is on him, you and all of us...and that's warming and comforting to know that especially during this time of year. This is the best gift any of us could get to hear such wonderful news. Keep us posted. Love...Char & Crew :)
