Surgery day #3

Hanging out in the Cardiac ICU…
18-ish tubes, wires and lines on this kiddo!

The goal tonight is to try to regulate his blood pressure and heart rate, as well as let him rest and recover.  Pray that all things will regulate and normalize soon.

It breaks my heart to see him like this. I can't imagine the strength and courage you and Adam have right now. My heart goes out to both of you and all you are going thru. It's times like this that you really understand what your faith means and why its so important. What would we do without knowing the God of the universe holds us in the palm of His hands? I'l be praying for Koals recovery and for the two of you to get the rest you need as well. Remember we are all praying - wrapping you in the strength of God's love. We Love You Too

I remember seeing my Lily looking like that after her DS. It was a long road but now she is chasing after her sister upstairs. These kids are way stronger than we are! Prayers and <3 hugs!

Glad he is stable and resting right now and hopefully will respond well to meds this evening. Wish the fluids could be reduced faster but if it is not a huge concern then I guess things are going as well as can be exprected. Am sure you are anxious to see him move as well... he is in our prayers always, as are you and Adam. Hopefully you will both get some rest tonight and little Koal will be totally comfy as he recovers and grows stronger. I pray he won't fight the tubes etc as that would be hard to see. We love you all and praise God for the gift of Koal and all of you. hugs and prayers forever and ever. Mom and Dad
