Follow up appointment

Had a GREAT cardiologist appointment this morning for Koal!  Dr. Shah was pleased with the pictures from the echo and said Koal’s heart function and flow are very good. His O2 saturation was 100% (waaaahoooooo!!) and EKG looked  great also!  He weighed 14.3 pounds, so he seems to be gaining weight, and the doc said his tricuspid valve shows the narrowing from before, but it is mild and stable and shows no need for concern.  The sedated him for his echo, but the meds made him loopy and hilarious, not particularly ‘sedated’ per se.  I took one picture, but should have videoed him a bit, as he cooed and oooohed and ahhhhed for about 45 minutes straight.  He’s sleeping it off now.  Haha!
Starting to get a little loopy before the echo!

Thank you for your continued prayers for the little man.  We’re so thankful for such a great appointment this morning and for God’s continued blessings with our sweet Koalton.

Oh guys....we're SO THRILLED for the little man and for your entire family. What great news! You and yours continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. So glad he got a strong report today and he's doing so well. (My little guys had same reaction to being sedated...you never know with that stuff...but glad he was "happy" and "content" during the testing). I may have shared this before but it's one of my favorite quotes: "Fear not the future---for God is already there." (Ruth Graham). We are so excited for Koal and for you as parents that he continues to heal, do well and be such a blessing to so many. Take care and you all will continue to be in our prayers. Love...Char & Crew :)

I sent out both yesterday and todays pictures for everyone to see how well he's doing and how utterly adorable he is. What wonderful news that he's doing so well and has come so far. This is one of those times that we will all hold close in our hearts as reminders of how God hears our prayers and listens to our cries for help when we need it. I think of all my own children and grandchildren and wonder if one day when great grandchildren come into the picture if they will remember little Koalton's survival story should they need to call on God for prayers for their own little ones. It's such a wonderful reminder that God is just a whisper away and He is always there when we need His help. I've always said faith isn't faith until you have a circumstance in your life when you have to use it. We are all so thrilled for both of you as you lay your heads on the pillow at night knowing you have one of God's little miracles in the next room. We love you guys and will continue praying for Koalton's life to accomplish great things. Love you Bunches
